9-Day Weather Forecast

Tropical Cyclone Toraji will move across the seas south of the Pearl River Estuary today. Under the combined effect of it and the northeast monsoon, it will be windy with squally showers over the coast of Guangdong. With Toraji gradually departing and weakening in the latter part of this week, showers will ease off and the weather will improve over Guangdong. Tropical Cyclone Usagi over the seas east of the Philippines will move in the general direction of the vicinity of Luzon Strait today and tomorrow. Its subsequent movement is uncertain with a higher chance of moving towards the seas east of Taiwan. A strong northeast monsoon is expected to reach the coast of southern China early next week. The weather will be appreciably cooler with a few rain patches over the region midweek next week. Meanwhile, Tropical Cyclone Man-yi over the western North Pacific may enter the central and northern parts of the South China Sea early next week, under the combined effect of it and the northeast monsoon, it will be windy over the central and northern parts of the South China Sea.
